As the wintry weather takes its toll yet again on the Scottish footballing weekend, it seems that our game with the green half Edinburgh has been one of the very few games to survive.
Ayrshire's Finest are expected to name an unchanged side against Hibernian, with long-term absentees James Dayton still out from the main squad. Steven Old formely out on loan with West Fife side Cowdenbeath but unfortunetly has picked up an injury.
The Hibees have also no fresh injury worries for the game. Hibernian like Killie have also had their games hit by the harsh snow and ice. Derek Riordan and Paul Hanlon return from their recent spells of suspension and Valdas Trakys returns from the sidelines.
The best performance against the Edinburgh side from Killie was in the 3-1 win which knocked Hibernian out of the cup - can it be repeated in this chilly weather? Let's hope so.
