We've been waiting on a striker, a real striker who can score goals for a long time, and today we finally have one for this season anyway.
His name is Harry Forrester. He's 20 and plays for Aston Villa but has never had a regular place in the team, so you could say that he's come to Ayrshire looking for first team football or to play on a regular basis at least.
He's come to the right place as we are looking for a striker, in seasons gone by we have had so-called strikers but they have constantly misfired. So much so that even our defenders started scoring goals - that is embarrasing but nevertheless we won't complain.
So far Harry has trained with the boys and participated in a practice game and scored a goal. Sounds good. Mixu Paatelainen said on Harry's signing: "He is a very energetic player, good technical ability, buzzes about the main striker."
The club has taken Nancy striker Basile Camerling on trial.
