Ayrshire's Finest put Accies to the Sword

On the night which saw Glasgow giants Celtic and Rangers defeated by their Edinburgh counterparts Hearts and Hibernian, Kilmarnock won their 3rd away game in a trot and again by the same scoreline - 3-0.

It will a night also remembered by Ben Gordon as he scored his first goal since,  arriving at the Theatre on-loan from Stamford Bridge.

He converted his shot from a cross by Liam Kelly and then dribbed the ball a bit closer, before shooting the ball with his left foot into the top right of the net. Kilmarnock 1-0 Hamilton. Accies tried to have a shot on goal but it went wide and high of the net.

After the restart it took less than 60 seconds for the home side to increase the lead to a more comfortble 2-0. Thanks to a simple shot from Connor Sammon,  after taking on a response to the recent high balls, Accies defence struggled to deal with it and he shot right footed from narrow range into the top of the net. Kilmarnock 2-0 Hamilton.

Eremenko made a try from the midfiled but his shot went just inches wide. Sammon finished the game off with a neat shot taken from a Craig Bryson pass. Kilmarnock 3-0 Hamilton. You would of thought that 3-0 would have been enough for the blue and whites, but no - it wasn't and then the boys went on the attack again searching for probable 4th goal.

Mehdi saw his shot paved wide by the Accies keeper.  Saints tried to score a goal through Jim Goodwin who also thought that he would not mind trying from long range, but the shot was saved by Killie keeper Cammy Bell.

Killie went on the attack again and both Hamill and Sammon worked together to put in a shot to then be saved by the Accies keeper. Miguel also put a shot in but it went just wide of the net. Connor Sammon then went on to try for a hat-trick but his shot was saved by the Accies keeper.

Full time: Kilmarnock 3-0 Hamilton.
